The Prince’s Rainforests Project for Schools

Visit The Prince's Rainforests Project for SchoolsThe education sector has a vital role to play in raising public awareness of the importance of rainforests in stopping climate change. To offer as much support to schools as possible, The Prince's Rainforests Project (PRP) has created a special Schools website.

Aimed at children and young people aged 3-16, as well as parents and teachers, the website includes a range of free resources, such as lesson plans, assembly ideas, fun games and activities, competitions and short videos. We also have a range of rainforest and climate change factsheets for teachers, students and pupils available for download.

Share ideas and showcase your work

There is an Award scheme that classes can work through by completing rainforest lessons and projects, plus an area where schools and teachers from around the world can share new ideas for lesson plans. There is also an online gallery for showcasing students' work.
